APPLICATION AND USE
Preparation PREVIOUSLY VARNISHED WOOD: Any existing varnish should be removed with a chemical remover or by sanding. Bleach any stains with Yacht Line Teak Restorer then treat as follows:
BARE WOOD: Sand smooth with 80-180 grade paper and then 280 grade paper. Remove sanding dust by brushing, dusting and wiping. If wiping with solvent then allow to dry completely before applying the first coat.

Method 1 SATURATION Apply Dex 1+2 with a cloth or brush and allow to soak deep into the wood. When surface appears matt, continue with further coats until the wood is fully saturated (normally 3 coats within a 2 hour period). Do not allow to dry between coats. Leave for recommended overcoating time. +2 FINISHING Apply a further 6-7 coats. For a smooth satin sheen, lightly sand using Dex 1+2 as the sanding medium with 400-1200 grade wet or dry paper. Wipe off residue. For increased satin gloss, rag apply a final thin coat. For teak decks, brush on 2 coats thinned 15-20%.
